I attended the Literacy Design Cooperative Professional Development in early June with Ms. Howells and Ms. Wright.  Ms. Howells worked with the other language arts teachers while Ms. Wright and I worked together to prepare our first LDC project. 

It looks like our focus for this first one will be on comparing climate types.  Ms. Wright and I noticed that students seem to struggle with this concept and we're hopeful that an LDC targeting this subject will be helpful.
